Description
Did you know that your brain can be younger or older than you? Scientists from Harvard University have proven that brain age doesn't always equal chronological age. A simple three-question test can help you assess its health right now!
The first question has to do with working memory. Try to recall these six digits in 5 seconds: 8-3-1-7-9-2. The average adult can hold 5-9 of these elements in their mind, as George Miller demonstrated in 1956.
The second question will test your reaction time and attention. Name the color of the word "GREEN" if it's written in blue. This effect, known as the Stroop effect, was described by John Ridley Stroop in 1935.
The third question will assess logical thinking. What number continues the sequence: 2, 4, 8, 16...? Research from the University of Cambridge shows that regular exercise can slow age-related cognitive decline by 5-10 years.
If you answered all three correctly, your brain is in great shape! It doesn't matter how old you are—25 or 75—neuroplasticity allows the brain to adapt and learn. Check your results and share them with your friends!
