Ten historic caravanserais: two distinct Sultan Hans in Turkey, Agzikara Han, Sheki’s Upper and Lower caravanserais, Morica Han in Sarajevo, Kursumli An in Skopje, Saad al-Saltaneh in Qazvin, Rabat-e Sharaf and Zein-o-din in Iran. This is an architectural selection, not an age or size ranking. The two Sultan Hans and the two Sheki buildings are separate monuments. Some buildings were later adapted to other uses. Archival photographs do not establish present visitor access. Authors, source pages and open licenses are listed below.
